Supporting diversity & opportunity
We believe supporting greater gender balance is key to our business growth and success. That's why we're proud to be one of the eight organisations who have committed to the Financial Services Council (FSC) Women in Investment Management Charter. The Charter introduces accountability and transparency mechanisms to enable fund managers to achieve their desired, self-nominated, gender diversity target.
Future IM/Pact is an industry initiative aimed at attracting more diverse talent into the investment teams of fund managers, super funds and industry participants. Since launching in July 2018, Future IM/Pact has supported hundreds of women to learn more about the industry and helped 23 women secure intern, graduate or junior analyst roles. Current partners include Australian Ethical, Cbus, Fidelity, Hesta, Jarden, Macquarie, Mercer, MLC, Munro Partners, Perpetual and QIC.
40:40 Vision is an investor-led initiative dedicated to achieving gender balance in executive leadership within Australia’s largest listed companies. The initiative aims to reach a leadership composition of 40% women, 40% men, and 20% of any gender across all ASX300 companies by 2030. By setting targets and pledging to achieve this balance, 40:40 Vision seeks to drive structural change at the highest levels of corporate Australia. Spearheaded by HESTA, and supported by organisations like Chief Executive Women and the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, 40:40 Vision is a collaborative effort to transform leadership in the corporate sector.
