Our green building
Our green head office
Our award-winning Six-star Green Star head office building incorporates design, construction and operational practices that significantly reduce Australian Ethical's environmental footprint and improve staff wellbeing.
The building was purchased in February 2006, and extensive refurbishments and fit-outs were undertaken which involved:
- reusing and recycling existing building materials
- installing energy saving features such as green electricity, double-glazed windows and insulation
- installing water efficient features such as solar water heating and rainwater tanks
- natural and energy-efficient lighting and ventilation inclusions.
